Remove your listing

If you are listed on this site and would rather not be, tell us and we will remove you. We do not ask for a reason and we do not try to talk you out of it.

Practice addresses are self-reported to CMS and are not always kept current. Some solo practitioners register a home address. If a listing is yours and you would like it removed, use the removal request form.

What removal does

  • Your detail page stops being generated and returns 404.
  • You disappear from every city, state and licence-type listing.
  • You are excluded from all counts and density figures — not just hidden from view.
  • You stop appearing as a "nearby provider" on anyone else's page.
  • The page is dropped from the sitemap so search engines drop it too.

Removal takes effect on the next build of the site. It does not change the underlying federal record — that is held by CMS, and we have no ability to alter it. To change what CMS publishes, update your record through NPPES.
